Technical Consultant for submitting proposal in EPPERAA for the treatment and disposal of sewage sludge

Consultant for assisting DEYAK in the preparation of the application file and the submition of the relevant application for funding of the Treatment and Disposal of Sewage Sludge works of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) of the Municipality of Karditsa. General plans and basic design plans of proposed works. Assistance in Project Data documentation (scope determination, losses estimation report etc).
The Technical Consultant assisted in:

Technical Consultant for assisting DEYAMV in modernisation, Zone Separation, automatisation of the inner Water Network, in the Municipal area of Volos and N. Ionia, aiming at minimisation of losses and assurance of adequate and good quality potable water

Consultant for assisting DEYAMV in the assesment of current water supply situation in N. Ionia area, water network zoning and calculations, water network separation in water losses control zones (District Metered Areas – DMAs). Control stations and relevant equipment determination. General plans and basic design plans of proposed works. Assistance in Project Data documentation (scope determination, losses estimation report etc).

Highway design for the update of the New National Road into a Highway (ΠΑΘΕ), section: Stylida - Raches (Chainage 12+000 - 32+000)

The stormwater and drainage works design of the 180km2 basin refer to :
- The main higway, 19.235 km long
- Three (3) tunnels,
- Four (4) valley bridges,
- One (1) bridge (Vellias stream)
- Three (3) overpasses
- Eleven (11) underpasses.
- Three (3) interchanges : (α) Ag. Marinas - Stylidas(β) Stylidas - Karavomilou (γ) Karavomilou - Ahinou.
- Sideways and other local roads
- Temporary works during construction period.

Triantafyllia dam and appurtenant structures design / Technical Consultant for Triantafylia dam works construction

It is a rockfill dam with clay core, 77m high and 560m crest length. The total volume of the dam is 2.700.000m3. The dam is founded on gneiss. Dam reservoir’s capacity is 12.000.000m3.
The spillway has discharge flow of 370m3/s (PMF), with maximum width 32m. The energy dissipation is achieved through a flip bucket and a steeling basin.
The cross-section of the diversion tunnel is of horseshoe shape with 150m radius. When the construction is over, it is converted to an intake and reservoir drain works.

Environmental flood protection works in urban areas - Adjustment of Xerias stream in Korinthos

Xerias river basin has an area of 174 km2 and extends from the town of Korinthos (North) to the Southern districts of the Korinthos Prefecture, at the frontier with Argolida. Xerias river flow is seasonal with intense fluctuations. The January 1997 storms caused serious disasters.
The works included:
- Open and closed parts combination with composite concrete/steel sections, 1330m long.

Final study of the primary and secondary irrigation and drainage network of area II in Serres

This project is part of the reallocation plan for the plain. Therefore the existing irrigation system is fully redesigned, taking into account the optimal utilisation of the available water resources.
The works included:
- The designed network covers an area of 160.000.000 m2.
- It is consisted of 9 irrigation zones, which are irrigated by pumping stations. Kerkini lake is the main supply reservoir providing water to all the irrigation zones through the main delivery canal.
- Downstream Control is used.
